Answer your AI's knowledge gaps before they reach your phone
Every question your AI agents couldn't answer is logged in one place. Answering them is the difference between AI handling it and your phone ringing.
Welcome to the first of our weekly quick tips — one small thing in RentalTide each week that's worth your attention.
This week: Knowledge Gaps.
Where to find it
Open Inbox → Knowledge Gaps from the left-hand panel.
If you have AI turned on anywhere in RentalTide — the website assistant, the phone agent, the booking agent — this page collects every question those agents were asked but couldn't answer.
Why it matters
An unanswered question doesn't just disappear. It becomes a hand-off: the AI gives up and the customer calls you instead. Every gap you close is a call you don't take.
Each gap shows how many times it's been asked, so you can work in priority order rather than top to bottom. A question asked sixteen times — "When will the water park reopen or have a grand opening?" — is sixteen deflected calls sitting behind a single answer.
How to close one
- Find a gap with a high Asked count.
- Click Add answer.
- Write the answer in plain language and save it to the right knowledge base.
That answer is written into your knowledge base, and from then on your AI agents use it to respond accurately — in chat, on the phone, and during booking.
Make it a habit
Gaps accumulate quietly. It's easy to look up and find seventy-five questions waiting with none resolved. Clearing a handful each week keeps your agents sharp and steadily reduces how often anything reaches your phone at all.
See you next week.

Hey, how's it going? We're going to start this new series. That is a thirty second quick tip, and it's going to be something in our platform every week that we think you may want to bring to attention.
So to start off, what we're going to do is head over to the left-hand panel here under Inbox and head over to Knowledge Gaps. So if you have AI turned on anywhere in the application, these are AI gaps or knowledge gaps that AI could not answer.
So in this case, "When will the water park reopen or have a grand opening?" This has been asked sixteen times, so it would be a good idea to add an answer and answer that question. AI agents are going to use this contextualized information that we've provided through the answers and the knowledge base to answer this accurately.
So you can see here we have seventy-five questions that need answers, and none of them have already been resolved. It is really important to stay on top of these, because otherwise it's going to be a hand-off to your phone. So we want to obviously limit that as much as possible. If we can answer it through our agents, we want to be able to do that.
Anyways — we will catch you next week.
